Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes and quaint Berber villages as you journey through the grand High Atlas Mountains. Take part in a camel excursion and savor an evening in a customary Berber tent at a desert camp. Delight in the unique Kasbah architecture at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the fortified village. Traverse the towering Tichka Pass, reaching an impressive height of 2260 meters, the highest road in the area. Roam through the vast palm grove of Draa while on a mesmerizing camel trek. Your two-day desert excursion departs from Marrakesh and is scheduled to begin at 8 AM. A qualified driving guide will accompany you and assist you in seeing the major attractions of the desert over the two days of the trip. Travel via the Tichka Pass (2260 metres above sea level), stopping to take pictures and take in the stunning view of the Berber settlements tucked away in the Atlas Mountains’ foothills.
Then, proceed to explore the Ksabah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage fortified village. Shots for numerous well-known films, including Gladiator, Games of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia, have been taken here. The Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is a singular example of Berber architecture that has endured for years. following a meal at a nearby restaurant.
Gazing upon the Kasbah, we shall proceed with our voyaging expedition towards Zagora. We proceed via the settlement of Agdz and the TiziN’tanifeft pass as we traverse the Draa Valley. To go to Zagora, we keep going via the Draa palm grove. Following a refreshing mint tea upon arrival, you will embark on a brand-new adventure tour that includes a camel caravan ride to witness a breathtaking sunset over the palm grove and spend a romantic evening in a desert camp beneath nomadic tents. After breakfast in your camp, we drive to Marrakech, passing through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, visiting the Kasbah Tamnougalt. Then, we continue to Ouarzazate, stopping for picturesque photos along the way and discovering another world heritage Kasbah, “the Kasbah Taourirte,” in the centre of the city. Enjoy an early morning to witness a stunning sunrise and spend some quiet time in the middle of the Draa Palm Oasis. We will visit the film studios after lunch in Ouarzazate, and then we will return to Marrakech over the Tichka pass. We will arrive in Marrakech towards the end of the afternoon, drop you off at your accommodation, and then the tour will come to an end.
